Life really comes with many surprises….

And recently a positive surprise/experienced happened to me. There are two pictures that I’ve just posted. One almost 14 years ago and the bottom one taken less than 3 days ago (Jan. 2, 2012 to be  exact). If you look close at the top picture it shows a boy and cutie in an orange top (i think its orange) and neon green shorts. That top picture with the boy was me (lol yes w/ a long bowl shaped haircut) and the one on the right of me is the birthday girl named Destiny (note again that that picture was taken almost 14 years ago).

Now it is 2012 and 3 days ago, most of you may know, I hosted a tumblr meetup. Many people came. I was introducing myself to friendly tumblr peeps and little did I know I was re-introducing myself to Destiny. Since that top picture was taken, I haven’t seen her since (because our families moved to different areas in IL). As the meetup went on, I laughed to myself saying “hah this girl has the same name of this one girl I knew before”, but it never clicked that night/day. So two days later (which was yesterday now since I’m writing this at 2 in the morning) I was talking to her and was commenting on her default picture on fb which was the bottom picture (it still didn’t click to me that it was the Destiny that I knew, and you could tell because if you look at my last posts I uploaded the same exact bottom picture saying how pretty she was and how it was nice meeting her). I commented and said how i really loved her profile picture and what not. We started conversing more and I fell asleep. When I woke up, there was a notification that she replied to my last comment on her wall post she posted on my wall. So I read it, then i went on her page, scrolled down and saw her aunt. Destiny’s aunt and my sister used to be real close back in the day and I was in shock. That confirmed IT WAS DESTINY THAT I KNEW FROM 14 YEARS AGO. I text her and told her if she had pictures from her birthday party and described how i looked back then “Bowl shaped haircut with a white wife beater”. She looked through her albums and there she saw me in the pictures…

After almost 14 years, I got to meet her again <33 we introduced each other like we were strangers 3 days ago and the whole day and night of the tumblr meet up we were just “new friends” just to find out, 2days later, that we knew each other since we were little. Glad I hosted the meetup. Destiny if you end up reading this, this saying will never get old to me cause in this case it is really true “YOOUUUUU AREEE MYYY DESSSSTINNNYYYYY” haha (inside joke from long ago). I really can’t believe it. Not to sound cheesy or anything, but hope our “renewed” friendship gets stronger and we don’t get separated again haha. :) We need to catch up on what we missed during the years we’ve been M.I.A :P …life really does come with surprises, especially when you least expect it. This “finding out” really made my day!

(theres a lot more background story to our lives back in the day but its too long to post haha) and btw this post may have errors and maybe confusing because I’m writing this at like 2 something AM and I’m tired as fuhh….but I really wanted to post this before I went to sleep…so yea :) 

and I might reblog this again tomorrow since everyone is mostly already sleeping :P

I Wonder What It Feels Like.

I wonder what it feels like. What it feels like to hold that special someone’s hand. To walk around and show the world that “yes, she’s mine and I’m hers”. I wonder what it feels like. What it feels like to have her head on my chest while we’re laying around. To let her hear the rhythm of my heart beat and show her that with every skip of a beat, it’s because of her. I wonder what it feels like. What if feels like to cover her eyes for a surprise date location that I’ve planned for weeks. To see her eyes brighten up and make her night/day. I wonder what it feels like. What it feels like to just be there for her and her for me. To show that even if life doesn’t go our way, we have each other to keep smiles on our faces. I wonder what it feels like. What it feels like to have the most amazing person through the good and bad, the happy and sad. To have someone to look back at those times with and say “Look how much we’ve been through”. I wonder what it feels like…to finally find you.
